Abstract
This research aims to design and implement a Binary tree
simulation based CAI on Discrete Mathematics learning. The method used in this
research is a method of research and development with the design Dick &
Carey model of development that comes with a special method of software
development its Software Development Life Cycle with Waterfall-based models. In
order to validate the academic and scientific, the resulting software product
was tested through three stages of testing the product testing as a software
engineering, product testing as a learning medium, and field tests on a small
group of faculty and students of Department of Education IT Undiksha Singaraja.
The
results showed
btree simulation-based CAI can simulate the process of formation of binary tree well and students response to the development of btree simulation-based CAI is very positive

Abstrak
Penelitian
ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan simulasi Binary tree
berbasis CAI pada
pembelajaran Matematika Diskrit. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Penelitian dan Pengembangan dengan desain pengembangan model Dick & Carey yang dilengkapi dengan metode
khusus pengembangan perangkat lunak Software
Development Life Cycle (SDLC) dengan Waterfall-based
Model. Agar dapat divalidasi secara akademik dan ilmiah, produk perangkat
lunak yang dihasilkan diuji melalui tiga tahap pengujian yaitu pengujian produk
secara teknik sebagai sebuah perangkat lunak, pengujian produk sebagai sebuah
media pembelajaran, dan uji lapangan terhadap kelompok kecil dosen dan mahasiswa
Jurusan Pendidikan TI Undiksha Singaraja. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa
simulasi binary tree berbasis CAI baik digunakan sebagai alat bantu interaksi
yang efektif dalam pembelajaran Matematika Diskrit dan respon mahasiswa adalah
sangat positif.
